Fun With Money!

     We are working with coins! We have been learning the coins and their values. We have been counting coins and showing different amounts with coins. We have been counting by 5s, 10s, and 25s to figure out amounts of coins. We played a really fun game called "Spinning for Money!"

      You can practice counting coins at home. Mom or Dad can give you a handful of coins and you can figure out the total amount. You can also show an amount with different coin combinations. For example, show 65¢ four different ways. Practice counting up from an amount of cents to figure out the change you would get back from a dollar.
