Good-Bye Munchie!

We had an exciting event on Thursday. Munchie emerged from her chrysalis one day early. We noticed her hanging from the top of her jar in the morning. We knew she was ready to go by the size of her wings and her eagerness to fly when Ms. LaRosa took her out of the jar. Everyone who wanted to had a chance to hold Munchie. It felt a little prickly but it was amazing to get such a close look at our special butterfly!

 We left Munchie resting on a leaf. When we checked again in the afternoon, she was gone.
